1. What information does Jurock.com gather/track and how is it used?

Use of traffic data
Each time a visitor comes to a Jurock.com Web site, we collect some information to improve the overall quality of the online experience. At Jurock.com sites, we collect the visitor's domain name (e.g., whether the user is logged on from sympatico.ca or rogers.ca), referral data (e.g., we record the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking through to a Jurock.com Web site), and browser and platform type (e.g., a Netscape browser on a Macintosh platform).

Jurock.com Web site also logs IP addresses for systems administration purposes. IP addresses are logged to track a user's session. This gives Jurock.com an idea of which parts of our site users are visiting. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a users session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous.

Use of Cookies
Jurock.com uses a feature of your browser to set a "cookie" on your computer. The cookie allows you to automatically login every time you visit Jurock.com (no need to type the user name/password every time). The cookie also allows us to measure and report aggregate information to advertisers such as the number of people who see their ad (reach) and the number of times people see their ad (frequency). It also allows us to deliver ads that are more relevant to you and avoid delivering the same ads too many times.

Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to find out the identity of any user. Jurock.com will only store information provided voluntarily, but this information is not personally identifiable. If for some reason you would rather not take advantage of the benefits made possible with cookies you can turn off this feature at http://www2.jurock.com/login.asp - just uncheck 'Remember my login and password'. Also, most browsers allow you to reject cookies or to choose which cookies to accept.

Use of email addresses collected from Jurock.com newsletter subscriptions
After signing up to receive a Jurock.com newsletter by email, users will start receiving a Jurock.com content newsletter delivered on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as well as occasional product-related announcements. On Jurock.com Web sites that offer newsletters, we collect subscribers' email addresses in order to distribute those newsletters and product-related announcements.

2. With whom does Jurock.com share the information it gathers/tracks?

Demographic Information
When we do present information to our advertisers, it is in the form of grouped statistics compiled from all our participating users' answers to survey questions and on-site behavior. Jurock.com will not disclose the contact or demographic information of any individual user to advertisers or any other outside organization.

3. What is Jurock.com's unsubscribe and data-removal policy?
