B.C. Housing Sales: Winners and Losers
Overall residential MLS sales in British Columbia decreased 2.5 % in January 2004 compared to January 2003, and the only growth in sales came in four regions: Chilliwack; Kamloops: the Central Okanagan and Vancouver Island. All other areas, including Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Victoria, saw either a decline in sales or no increase from a year earlier, reports the B.C. Real Estate Association. We take a look below at the two hottest markets in B.C. this January, Chilliwack and Kamloops.
