General Overview
Pritchard is an unincorporated area, 43 kilometers east of Kamloops on the Trans Canada Highway #1. The community straddles the Thompson River and is surrounded by agricultural land, much of which is in ginseng production. Stables also make up part of the local economy offering lessons, boarding facilities and trail rides. Pritchard Station, the local general store, provides a range of services: gas, propane, liquor agent, postal outlet, and grocery.
